If you have been thinking of visiting Greece, this is a great opportunity. SET (South Evia Tours) with Olympus Personal Training, have organized a one of a kind trip to Greece from June 30th till July 8th 2012. In this trip, with the exception of Acropolis, we will be visiting places that most tourists don’t see. You will be seeing the real Greece and you will have a chance to eat at traditional Greek restaurants and try an authentic Greek cuisine. Stavros Mastrogiannis, the owner of Olympus Personal Training & Weight Management and a Greek native, will be accompanying the group for the full duration of the trip. While you will have the chance to see the real Greece, you will also have the chance to learn traditional Greek eating habits. The traditional Greek diet is considered one of the healthiest diets in the world. Ikaria, an island 80 miles south from Evia, whose inhabitants have maintain the traditional ways of eating, enjoy the second longest lifespan in the world, according to Dan Buettner author of “Blue Zones” By the end of the trip, you would have experienced the real Greece, you will have tasted an authentic Greek cuisine and you will have picked up some great eating habits.

Greece Itinerary
From June 30th till July 8th 2012
June 30th: Hotel in Athens one night. Saturday after you check into the Hotel, you’re free to explore.
July 1st: Take a tour of Acropolis, and then you will have few hours to explore Monastiraki.
(Monastiraki (Greek: Μοναστηράκι, pronounced [monastiˈraci], literally little monastery) is a flea market neighborhood in the old town of Athens, Greece, and is one of the principal shopping districts in Athens. The area is home to clothing boutiques, souvenir shops, and specialty stores, and is a major tourist attraction in Athens and Attica for bargain shopping. The area is named after Monastiraki Square, which in turn is named for the Pantánassa church monastery that is located within the square. The main streets of this area are Pandrossou Street and Adrianou Street. )
