1.  Knowledge and Experience: We have been serving the fitness and weight loss needs of the Danbury area since 1996.  All trainers at our facility are certified, but more importantly, we continually update our knowledge through continuing education .

2.  Privacy: All our personal training sessions are conducted in a private studio with just you and the trainer, unless you have chosen to do the group personal training. Each studio is a complete gym, and includes all the weights and weight machines one would need to get a complete, full-body workout.

3.  We specialize in permanent weight loss: To lose weight the healthy  way, and keep it off, requires more than just the right diet. We have spent the past 12 years identifying and understanding the causes of weight gain. Having done that, we were able to develop a personal training program that really gets to the root of most people's weight problem.   When our clients lose weight with us, the weight does not come back!

4.  Follow Up: We realize that for clients to be successful in achieving the results they want, they must do more than just the workouts they do with us. To better help our clients reach their fitness and weight loss goals we give them specific advice for what they should be doing on their own and we follow up to make sure they follow through.

5.  Shorter more Effective Workouts: At Olympus we implement what is called "high intensity strength training." What is great about this weight training routine is that it takes around 20 to 30 minutes to complete, but gets the same results as the traditional weight raining routines, which take twice as long.  Second benefit is the fact that after this type of workout you  feel energetic not beat, like traditional workouts. We can honestly say that adapting this shorter weight-training routine is one of the best things we have done for our clients.

    When it comes to exercising, more is not always better; better is better.  Here at Olympus we never follow any traditions blindly.  Just because something was always done a certain way does not make it right.  We have found many traditional exercises ineffective and many of them even dangerous. Yet, many people still use them, and even worse, many trainers still teach them.  We take a scientific approach to our workouts.  We make sure each and every exercise in our programs is effective and carries the lowest risk possible.  Our goal is to ensure that our clients get the maximum benefits in the shortest amount of time possible.
