In this phase, our goal is to help you eliminate all your bad eating habits and help you develop 8 new eating habits that will make the biggest difference in your health and weight.  Even if you think you eat a very healthy diet, it worth going through this phase.  In our experience, we have found that most people can benefit from our nutritional program, even people who eat a very healthy diet and here is why.  Most diets and nutritionist only focus on the foods people eat or don't eat.  They don't talk about why and how you should be eating, which could make a huge difference in your health and weight.  The first 4 eating habits we will be teaching you, are all about the "how" and "why" you eat.  

One you have developed the exercise habit and all the right eating habits and have achieved your fitness goals, you are ready for the last phase of our program

This is the first phase of the Live Your Way Thin System, where our goal is to make sure you have the right mindset for sustainable results.  This is an essential step to take before you start any fitness program if you want sustainable results.  You must first change the way you think if you want to change the way you act permanently!

In this phase, our goal is not just to help you get a good workout that will help you achieve your fitness objectives but to also help you make working out habitual.  Remember, the best way to ensure that you stay consistent with your workouts is to make working out a habitual behavior, so you will not have to rely on motivation to get your workouts done.  In addition, we will help you incorporate into your everyday life activities that are beneficial to your health and would complement the workouts that you do at the gym and of course, help you make those activities habitual also.

The end game of our program is to have helped you develop all the necessary eating and activity habits that would have helped you achieve the fitness results you wanted.  Because with our system you will have achieved the results you wanted by making permanent changes in your daily behaviors, you will have a very easy time maintaining those results.  Once you have achieved your fitness goal you can go on your own.  Many of our clients stay in touch with us by doing sessions every so often or join our online coaching, to ensure they don't pick up any unhealthy habits again.

In the past 30 years, even though we have more than doubled the amount of money we spend on weight loss products and services, the obesity rate in America has more than tripled, and continues to rise.  According to Trust for America's Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, if we continue at this rate, half of U.S. adult population will be obese by the year 2030.  So? What are we doing wrong?

To answer this question, we must take a closer look at the weight problem and what is its root cause.   If you take a closer look as to what is causing this weight gain epidemic you will find that there is not just one or two reasons why, but many. In no particular order of importance, here just a few of the reasons why people are overweight and out of shape. 

  • Lack of activity.  Due to modern conveniences, we don’t challenge our muscles and cardiovascular system enough, so they deteriorate at a much faster rate than normal.
  • Not eating because of true hunger.  People today eat for any reason.   We eat because we are bored, we eat for comfort, we eat to de-stress, we eat for entertainment, we eat because it is “meal time”.   The fact is, when you eat without being hungry, even the healthiest food can become unhealthy and cause you to gain weight.
  • Eating too much of the wrong foods and not enough of healthy foods.  It’s bad enough that we eat without being hungry, we also eat very unhealthy foods.  Foods that are overly processed, full of chemicals and low in nutrients.
  • Eating too often.  Did you know that how often you eat can make a huge difference in your health and weight? 
  • Not drinking enough water.  Did you know that not drinking enough water can cause your metabolic rate to slow down? 
  • Eating too fast and mindlessly causes us to overeat.  Did you know that by simply learning to eat slowly and mindfully you would eat less without feeling deprived? 
  • Not having a healthy way to deal with stress.  Stress can cause you to gain weight and develop countless diseases. 
  • Eating too many foods that are acid causing, which throws off your body’s PH balance, causing all types of health problems including weight gain.


Usually, most people are overweight and out of shape because of one or more of these reasons. Unfortunately, most weight loss programs only address one or two of these reasons.  So, if you follow a weight loss program that addresses the reason or reasons you gained weight, you will lose weight and improve your health.  However, if the weight loss program you follow does not address all the reasons why you are overweight and out of shape, you may lose some weight, but not necessarily all you need to lose, and you might only see minor improvements to your health.

Another fact that I find interesting is that well over 90% of the people who manage to lose weight, regain the weight back.  Again, the question is why?  To answer this question, we need to take a closer look at how most weight loss programs instruct people to incorporate into their lives all the changes they need to make to lose weight and improve their health

You see, knowing what you need to do to lose weight and get in shape is only half of the solution to sustainable weight loss.  The other half is knowing how to apply all those changes into your life without burning out.  This part of the solution to sustainable weight loss is something that very few weight loss programs address and that is the main reason why most people end up regaining the weight back with most weight loss programs on the market today.

Most weight loss programs simply rely on motivation for the implementation of their program.  They believe it does not matter how people incorporate the changes into their lives because once people see results they would be motivated to keep going and many people share the same belief.  Unfortunately, for the clear majority of people, that is not true.
