About Our Personal Training Services

Each session consist of two, 30-minute segments.

In the first 30 minute segment, we conduct the strength training part of the workout which includes flexibility and balance training. It is fully customized to your fitness goals, current shape, and motivation level.  This segment of the workout takes place in a private fully-equipped room and at this segment, we also coach you on how to best integrate exercise into your life and make it a habitual behavior.

In the second 30 minute segment of the workout, we will help you get a good aerobic workout using any of our aerobic equipment. In this segment of the workout, the trainer will set you up but will not necessarily stay in the room with you. A trainer is always around to assist in case you need help. You might be sharing the aerobic room with a few other people, but there is never a crowd. The total session is around 60 minutes long.

We offer 2 types of personal training sessions: “Private” and “Semi-Private”  See below for details

About Our Nutritional Coaching Approach

There are many diet and nutritional program that can help you lose weight.  The question is, will you be able to keep the weight off after you lose it?  

 

The answer for the vast majority of people unfortunately is “NO”.  According to statistics around 95% of people who lose weight end up regaining the weight back

 

The question is why?  There are 2 main reasons why with most diet programs people end up regaining the weight back.  

 

Reason #1:  Incomplete information.  Did you know that “How” you eat effects your weight and health as much if not more, than “What” you eat?

If you look at most of the diet programs on the market today only talk about “What” we should be eating and “What” we should be avoiding, but very little about “How” we should be eating.

Did you know that you could be eating the exact same food but depending on many factors including, were you truly hungry when you ate, how long ago you ate you previous meal and many other factors, the same food could affect your weight and health completely differently?  Did you also know that the same amount of food can leave you satisfied or still hungry, depending on how fast you ate?  

The fact is, “how you eat” affects your health and weight as much if not more than “what you eat”, but that is something very few diet programs ever teach people, and that is one of the reasons why people fail in the long term.

 

Reason #2:  Not knowing how to apply all the know-how into people’s lives. Knowing what you need to do in order to lose weight, does not guarantee that you will be able to lose weight or to be more specific, lose weight and keep it off. 

There are many diet programs that teach all the right stuff and yet the vast majority of people fail to achieve sustainable weight loss with those programs. Why? 

One of the main reasons for that is because having the right information is only half of the weight loss solution, the other half is knowing how to apply that know-how into your live without overwhelming yourself.

 **True Mediterranean Diet. Most experts who have studied the Mediterranean diet, for some reason only focused on the foods we ate or didn’t eat.  But, did you know the Mediterranean cultures, ate very differently than the way people eat in the west?  I am not just talking about the foods, but how we ate, how often we ate, what did we do after we ate.  All those things played a huge role in the good health we enjoyed, and yet, it is hardly ever mentioned when people talk about the Mediterranean diet. The reason I know all this is because unlike other experts, I didn’t just study the Mediterranean diet, I was raised with it.  The True Mediterranean Diet goes beyond just the foods we ate.

How It Works

First, you have a 30-minute nutritional consultation with Stavros. The consultation can be done at our facility or we can do it over the phone or skype.

At this consultation, we will go over your current eating habits and identify what eating habits you need to change and what new healthy eating habits you need to develop.  Based on the information we gather, we will create an action plan of how you can to make all the necessary changes and make them part of your life so you can lose weight and more importantly, keep it off. 

When you leave this consultation, you will have a clear idea of all the eating habits you need to develop or eliminate and a clear plan of action of how you can make all the necessary dietary changes.

The way we help you implement that action plan into your life, is through our App. This app provides you with access to your coach for any questions you might have or help you might need to overcome obstacles that get in your way.   

Also with this app you will be able to track your progress on each of the healthy eating habits you are working on.

In addition this app will have all the information you need to know about all the healthy behaviors you need to implement into your life.

You always have the option of scheduling additional consultation with Stavros for additional help if you need it.

With our nutritional coaching program we will not just teach you the healthy eating behaviors you need to have in order to lose the weight you want.  With our nutritional coaching program, you will learn how to make all the right eating behaviors completely habitual and part of your everyday life, so when you lose all the weight you want, you will be able to keep it off with ease.
